This property was totally refurbished (2009)and is in excellent condition with all amenities provided including all energy usage and a welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits.
It has two bedrooms and can sleep up to six people. It is non smoking and we can not take pets.
It is situated in a large well kept garden with unobstructed view of the countryside. It is very central for exploring the county of Caithness and Sutherland with good local amenities to suit all kinds of activities.
The River Thurso runs through the village of Halkirk and is well known for salmon fishing.
Thurso has good shopping, golf course, beach, pubs and restaurants.
Wick has good shopping, golf course, pubs and restaurants.
There are ferry services from John'O Groats, Scrabster and Gills to Orkney.
Horse riding facilities are available in the village.
